With the whole world engulfed in pandemic, we have found ourselves in an unprecedented moment in time. How we emerge from this challenge both personally and globally is up to us and our conscious intention. A crisis of this magnitude has the potential to shake us out of our habits and limited beliefs. Yoga offers us the tools, not only to cope with times like these but also to transform ourselves and the world around us. Right now, we have a choice as to where we are headed.
Will we have the opportunity to choose: Security or insecurity? Renewal or habit? Comfort or stress? Separation or unity? Self-esteem or self–doubt? Bliss or suffering? Acceptance or resistance?Awareness or unconsciousness? Love or fear?
It is easy to feel helpless at a moment like this, but carving out time for spiritual practice and connection to the sacred each day, is a conscious contribution we can all make to the healing of the world. To assist you with this process we invite you to join us on an 8-week healing journey of personal and collective transformation.
Using the chakra system as a framework for analyzing the personal and societal issues emerging from this crisis, we will together visualize each of these areas healed & transformed into its' full potential. Each week we will host a 90 minute livestream class which will include a brief practice of pranayama & asana followed by guided meditation, discussion and journaling.
During the week we will offer suggested practices including: mudras, mantras, affirmations, readings and journaling. Ideally, we would like participants to try to commit to a daily practice of mediation and visualization.
In order to make this opportunity available for all, we are offering this course on a donation basis. Please pay what feels appropriate, given your current situation. Donations accepted through Venmo: @Meghan-Maris
